Subject: Sharing strawberry plants
Does anyone in the Vacaville/Sacramento area have an interest in sharing orders of strawberry plants? Typically, the plants are cheaper when they come in boxes of 1000. A couple farms are interested in sharing orders to hopefully get us to multiples of 1000. We were going to order Albion from Lassen Canyon Nursery for delivery in mid-February for a second, spring planting, but if you would be interested in this for the future as well, please contact me!

Hi,
Does anyone in the Yolo/Solano region have a larger scale flamer for weed control, ie. one that can be mounted on a tractor? We would be interested in renting one this fall.
Thanks!

Subject: Landscape fabric?
Does anybody know where to get landscape fabric locally (to north California)? I called Shaw's fabrics and got a quote for Lumite, but it comes from Georgia and freight is expensive. I emailed Extenday but I haven't heard back from them. Thank you!

Try G&M, it's in AZ, they probably not going to ship from CA but they are normally much cheaper than the rest of the farm vendors so it still comes cheaper

Subject: Gopher/ground squirrel/rabbit specialist?
I heard of a gopher/rodent specialist in the Bay area/northern california who was at EcoFarm last year, but can't remember their company name and now can't find them online. Does anyone know of a company that specializes in trapping rabbits, gophers, ground squirrels? We have some owl boxes and have trapped some gophers, but aren't that good at it. Thank you!!

Em; Not sure if your up for this…however….go to you-tube and look for ' rodenator'. See if you can handle this. Some of the good -ole- boys would probably get a kick outta this. Some….well…they just might be desperate for an effective tool. So…its up to you. j
