Participants train at a partner host farm which provides mentorship and experience. We are a small nonprofit educational eco-arts farm on 6 acres in Aromas, CA. We are actively farming about 1 acre of the property, employing small-scale, no-till methods for various market vegetables, pollinator attractors, hedgerows, and an orchard/food forest. We have three permanent staff members who live on site managing the property, as well as the nonprofit organization.
We have ample parking for up to a 30ft trailer, complete with power and water hookups, for someone with a trailer to park and live on-site. In exchange, we’re looking for someone with general farming and garden knowledge, who would be willing to work part time, about 20 hrs/week, helping out on the farm.
