Western Food Safety Summit

Hartnell College hosts the annual Western Food Safety Summit. This event brings together all levels of the agricultural workforce and support services to California's Central Coast for two days of intensive training on the most current Food Safety issues and concerns for fresh fruits and vegetables. Aligned with a theme of "Creating a Sustainable Food Safety Culture," speakers and panelists will zero in on the most immediate safety challenges and opportunities for fresh fruits and vegetables, including irrigation, regulation, and traceability.
