The Ranch has been a family home since the 1940s and has been an active part in the community. In 2022 an independent flower farm has sprouted at the ranch and is leasing land on the back three acres. Those staying at the ranch will have access to a rock climbing wall and a garage full of tools. There are also community garden spaces for planting you own flowers and vegetables. We're looking to contribute to strengthening a small farm community across our region.

We are a small nonprofit educational eco-arts farm on 6 acres in Aromas, CA. We are actively farming about 1 acre of the property, employing small-scale, no-till methods for various market vegetables, pollinator attractors, hedgerows, and an orchard/food forest. We have three permanent staff members who live on site managing the property, as well as the nonprofit organization.

We have ample parking for up to a 30ft trailer, complete with power and water hookups, for someone with a trailer to park and live on-site. In exchange, we’re looking for someone with general farming and garden knowledge, who would be willing to work part time, about 20 hrs/week, helping out on the farm. We are open to discussion to iron out the details, but think this is a good starting point.

The property is 1/2 acre, shared by two homes. so isn't large enough to operate as a full profit-motivated farm, but would be a great place for farming oriented people to live and still be in the bay area. One home is already rented but the second home will be listed for rent by the end of the year. That second home is in back with roughly a quarter acre of back yard.
